Valencia by FivePoint kicked off something special on Saturday, February 7, as What The Truck by What’s Up SCV made its debut at The Porch, bringing together great food, local talent, and nonstop fun from 3–9pm.

The inaugural event transformed The Porch into a lively community hangout, packed with local food trucks, unique vendors, and classic carnival games that kept guests of all ages entertained. From savory bites to sweet treats, there was no shortage of reasons to stroll, snack, and soak up the energy.

The night started with a bang when a local School of Rock band took the stage, opening with a powerful cover of Alice In Chains’ “Man in the Box.” Their performance set the tone for a rocking evening that seamlessly shifted gears later on—because in Valencia, even a rock show can lead into line dancing. 

Families, friends, and neighbors filled the space, dancing, laughing, and celebrating what makes the Santa Clarita Valley and Valencia such a vibrant place to live: strong local businesses, young talent, and a community that loves coming together.

And the best part? This was just the beginning.

What The Truck at The Porch is now a monthly series, with the next event happening on Saturday, March 7, from 3–9pm. Expect even more food trucks, vendors, live music, and fun surprises.
