The May 10th Farmers Market was filled with extra love, extra flavor, and plenty of celebration as our Resident Chef, Princella Zeno, hosted a special Mother’s Day Cooking Demo for the community.
With the scent of smoky barbecue spices drifting through the market, attendees gathered to watch Chef Princella prepare her delicious Barbeque Jackfruit Tacos — a plant-based dish packed with bold flavor, satisfying texture, and the perfect balance of sweet and savory. Guests were amazed by how hearty and flavorful the tacos were, and many couldn’t believe the dish was completely vegan. The tender jackfruit delivered the smoky, saucy comfort of classic barbecue, surprising even the biggest meat lovers in the crowd.
As always, Chef Princella brought more than just great food to the demonstration. As a mom herself, she infused the morning with warmth, humor, and heartfelt appreciation for the mothers in attendance. Between cooking tips and tasting samples, she shared stories, encouraged guests to experiment with fresh market ingredients, and created the kind of welcoming atmosphere that makes these demos so special.
